- Bachelors of Science in Child and Family Studies with a minor in communications from Weber State University

Therapy
I have been doing therapy since 2016. I have experience working with couples, teens, and individuals. Over the years of doing therapy I have learned to really enjoy this work and the people I work with. I see change on a continuum from insight to experience. I use a variety of different models of therapy to meet you where you are at on that continuum. In other words, I will use my therapy knowledge to meet you where you are and how you most effectively change. The models of therapy I use most often are:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Narrative
- Client Centered Therapy
- Solution Focused
Free Time
I love spending time with family, camping, play games, etc. Some of my hobbies are cooking, painting, keep pets like fish and lizards, and constructing and flying RC planes. I am a DYI kind of guy. If it needs doing I think I can do it. Everything from auto repair to house work. I would rather do it myself and know it gets done right.
I am passionate about you finding and getting the best help you can. Sometimes, that is not me. Don’t be afraid to reach out. If I can’t help you, I will do my best to find you someone who can. Do what you can to find a therapist who is committed to Care and Understanding. If you don’t feel that they are listening and understand you and/or that they don’t care, RUN! They are not likely to be able to help you find lasting change.
